The Works POS

Working remotely as a freelance graphic designer, I provided creative support for The Works retail chain, producing POS campaigns for each seasonal phase alongside a wide range of supporting print and digital marketing materials. From initial concepts developed in response to creative briefs, I adapted designs across multiple POS formats to ensure consistency throughout the customer journey. I also contributed to a major rebranding project, helping to redesign The Works’ in-store signage and evolve the visual direction of its seasonal POS campaigns.

Vehicle Arts Event Marketing

Working with Vehicle Arts on an Arts Council-funded public art trail across Leicester, I developed the event branding and rolled the visual identity out across a wide range of print and digital marketing materials. The branding was designed to be inclusive and accessible, celebrating the diversity of the participating artists while appealing to a broad public audience. A key challenge was creating a flexible visual identity that remained consistent and recognisable across a variety of formats while reflecting the ethos and spirit of the event.

LCB Depot Posters

Working closely with LCB Depot, I designed a suite of event posters that established a strong and instantly recognisable visual identity while reflecting the venue’s creative character and nature of its events. From interpreting the initial brief through to delivering print-ready artwork, I developed engaging designs that balanced consistency with the flexibility to communicate lots of information, ensuring each poster was both visually striking and unmistakably part of the LCB Depot brand.

Logos and branding

Creating a logo is perhaps the purest form of graphic design – distilling an identity into a simple combination of shapes, colour, and typography. Every project begins with market research, and client collaboration, using visual language to position a brand effectively. I have designed logos for a diverse range of clients, but the guiding principle has always been to create branding that reflects the client’s values while helping them stand out.
